Do you enjoy working with numbers and analyses in order to develop and optimize the business? And are you good at communicating your conclusions to people outside the finance function? Right now we are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us here in our Copenhagen office.

Telia Denmark consists of approximately 700 curious employees, and you will join the Business Performance Team consisting of approximately 10 dedicated colleagues. As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with one or several business units as well as collaborating with your colleagues within Finance in Denmark and Telia Group. You will be the point of contact for the business in financial matters, and you will be providing the Management with operational financial support, drive planning, forecasting & reporting process and more. The overall mission for this role will amongst others be to establish an Opex follow up framework with the necessary analytical files and gain a good overview and insight on our opex development with key drivers. Moreover, you will help establish a framework for tracking transformation initiatives cost effects and contribute to further expansion of our transformational program with new initiatives.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Overall Opex reporting and follow-up responsibility for the consolidated Opex for Telia DK
    • Track, explain and report internally and towards Group on the company’s Opex development
  • Gain insight on the Opex development of the different units by working closely with the different Business Partners and Business Units directly Opex reporting, follow-up and forecast preparation for several business units including month end close related tasks such as accruals and necessary reconciliations
  • Provide overviews/keep track of potential headwinds or cost opportunities
  • Responsible for the Transformation program and efficiency initiatives follow up
    • Establish system to track effects from transformation & other efficiency initiatives
    • Contribute where needed to do evaluations and BC analysis
    • Get involved and proactively identify new initiatives and efficiency opportunities
    • Identify gaps/upsides on initiatives’ effects and report on those
    • Work closely with Strategy on the overall Transformation program reporting

Is this you?

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner that is analytical and able to communicate information easily and understandably. You have a track record of driving efficient processes and creating follow up frameworks. As a person, you are someone who enjoys collaborating with others and can easily build relationships with internal stakeholders. You enjoy challenging the organization in a constructive way and often approaches the business with proactive solutions or insights. Finally, you are results-oriented with a good respect for deadlines.

Your experience:

  • 5+ years of experience from a similar role with focus on cost follow up reporting, planning and optimization
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in economics with good results
  • Experience with analytical work, deviation analysis and forecasting/planning process
  • You have experience with month end close and work in SAP
  • You are proficient in English both orally and in writing and preferably also Danish but not a must
