Join our skilled Audio Engineering unit

In the R&D Audio Engineering department we know sound. All our state-of-the-art Jabra communication and music products are hatched here. You join a large, multi-national team of dedicated audio engineers, who keep at the forefront of sound technology to develop innovative solutions that raise the bar for the power of sound.

Program, build, test and develop
Exploring and maturing new technologies towards future Jabra products, you conduct technology studies where you unify programming as well as theoretical and experimental aspects of acoustics. Thus, you will be appointed to technology studies, typically lasting approx. 6 months each, where you:

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and relevant stakeholders from other R&D disciplines as well as program and project management to develop innovative technologies that will help us to deliver relevant sound experiences to our customers
  • Deep dive into new technologies, designing acoustics and developing digital signal processing methods
  • Program, build and test prototypes at our world-class test facilities
  • Find bugs before our customers do by continuously testing new technologies and demonstrating the customer experience to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Document findings and communicate progress according to our standards

Analytical and innovative mindset

Your ability to bring solid calculations and proven results to the table while keeping a holistic view is key to your success in this position. You balance autonomy with teamwork as you place great value on your colleagues’ individual expertise. Furthermore:

  • You hold a relevant master’s or PhD degree in e.g. engineering
  • You have experience with MATLAB and C programming, and you have experience with either digital signal processing or acoustics – and ideally both
  • You have experience with practical laboratory work, covering acoustics, transducers, speech, music and sound as a general concept
  • You speak and write English effortlessly
