Then this is your chance to join the highly ambitious Global Operations Finance team as Finance Manager in Præstø. Your place of work can be agreed to be a mix of Præstø, Ballerup and from your home.

And our component manufacturing in Præstø is a key facility in GN Hearing’s global supply chain that covers 10 global sites.

Joining us in Præstø, you will become part of a dedicated finance team in both Præstø and Global Operations headquarted in Ballerup, and you will also become a member of the management team in Præstø. This means you report directly to the Head of Global Operations Finance in Ballerup and indirectly to the Vice President of Component Manufacturing.

Drive the financial management of Component Manufacturing

As our new Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall financial management of Præstø Component Manufacturing where you will participate in anything from day-to-day financial management and projects to longer-term strategic planning.

Your key responsibilities include the budget process, management reporting, product costing and supporting and driving projects that create financial transparency and deliver insights enabling fact-based decision-making for both the management team in Præstø and in Global Operations Finance.

Moreover, you will:

  • Complete local financial transactions, including coordinating with Group accounting, Group Financial Controlling and Global Operations Finance
  • Be responsible for month- and year-end closing, including management reporting for local and HQ management and audit support
  • Analyze and report on all production variances at month-end and during the month
  • Support local department managers in outlooks and budgets and ensure managers understand their budgets
  • Support local and corporate managers with business cases
  • Calculate and review product costs for both existing and new products in collaboration with the New Product Introduction team in line with annual budgets or interim estimates with support from Corporate (particularly for year-end cost updates)
  • Be the local system owner of the financial reporting system, including local master data in cooperation with the Supply Chain Manager and Global Master Data Manager
  • Support and calculate consequences of potential Excess/Obsolete figures of products in the local supply chain

Finance professional with solid communication skills

If you have 5+ years of experience as a financial/business controller, finance business partner or from a position in e.g. auditing or financial consulting, you might be a good match for this position.

To succeed in the job, you have a proactive outgoing mindset as well as possess strong collaboration and communication skills. You thrive in a work environment where you can use your experience and pragmatic mindset to lead the way. Moreover:

  • You have a relevant educational background (e.g. HD, master’s degree in finance, economics or equivalent)
  • You are proficient in MS Office – particularly Excel – and preferably you have experience working with SAP, D365, Navision or other financial reporting systems. Perhaps also Agile
  • You are self-driven and can work independently
  • You are resilient and know how to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Preferably, you have experience from a manufacturing/supply chain finance environment, including experience with product costing
  • You are fluent in written and spoken Danish and English
