Junior Project Engineer

Our client, who are Ireland’s leading specialists in the Fire Protection Market are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their expanding team in Dublin.

The Junior Project Manager will be working within the Fire Detection & Suppression Systems department.

This role would suit an electrical engineer or someone who has had on-site experience as an electrician / general operative and would like to advance into an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to the Fire Detection Division.
• You will be involved in Bid Preparation and tender returns.
• You will be procuring material.
• You will be involved in system design.
• You will be involved in management and negotiation with subcontractors.
• You will be managing health and safety files and to include preparations.
• You will be preparing O&M Manuals.

Requirements

• You hold a certificate or diploma within a relevant discipline.
• You have experience in installation of electrical systems (preferably Fire Alarm).
• You are a self-starter that can work with little or no supervision.
• You have strong organizational skills, positive attitude.
• You have the ability to learn quickly.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft office.
• Full Drivers Licence.
