What will you be doing? 

As our new Marketing Analytics Associate you will be based at our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark. You will be working in a fast-paced global environment as part of the Marketing Excellence team.

You will be part of our Global Marketing Excellence team, which consists of 10 international, enthusiastic, and supportive marketing professionals, who enjoy collaborating, socializing, and bringing new ideas to the table.

Overall GN is on a journey of transforming the way we work with our data - from manual handling to automated reports - by using data in multiple applications that supports stakeholders throughout the business.

As part of this journey, you will have a broad range of responsibilities and collaborate closely with your global colleagues across the organization – incl. marketing, sales, and our data insights teams - to ensure an effective marketing analytics approach to meet the business objectives in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Your main responsibilities are ensuring the effective tracking, analyzing, and reporting on our marketing activities across our different media-, marketing-, and digital platforms.

More specifically, you will:

  • Gather relevant marketing, sales, customer, and competitor data and create a comprehensive suite of marketing dashboards using the most appropriate marketing tools

  • Work in close partnerships with our marketing functional teams to deliver ongoing dashboard reporting from many different data sources e.g., CRM (MS Dynamics), Salesforce, SimilarWeb, Google Analytics and social media platforms

  • Maintain organization-wide data standards and integrations among multiple marketing systems  

  • Stay updated on the broader tech landscape and recommend the most appropriate tools to host our marketing insights

  • Manage and enhance existing ways of sourcing and capturing marketing and sales data across different teams

  • Day-to-day management of data flows and insights output

We are looking for hands-on technical expertise coupled with an analytical mindset to ensure the data we are reporting provides meaningful and actionable insight for our marketing organization.

You will have the opportunity to define your own role, as we move along. It is thus important that you thrive in a fast-paced environment, can work independently and that you are not scared of a challenge. We imagine that you are good at organizing your work, can manage several tasks at once with a good eye for the details. In addition, we would also imagine that you have:

  • Some years of experience from a similar position within marketing analytics, data, insights, or equivalent

  • A higher educational background at a master level or similar within marketing, economics, statistics, math, or other equivalent educations

  • A deep understanding of statistical techniques and data visualization tools specially Power BI, and Qlik and that you are skilled using Google Analytics, Google Trends, and other 3rd party tools, e.g., SimilarWeb

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

  • Familiarity with managing data flows and data integrity related to CRM systems, such as MS Dynamics, Salesforce or other similar systems

  • Experience working in a global company is preferred

Fluent written and spoken English skills
