Join the world’s oldest start-up and turn up the volume on your career

At our HQ in Ballerup, you’ll join the software engineering department and be part of a team where great ideas become intelligent audio and video solutions that let you hear more, do more and be more.

The department is part of the R&D organization with colleagues located in Europe, the US and China. We are responsible for specification, design, implementation and testing of software for GN Audio products.

Here, you’ll join a tight-knit team of 60 dedicated software engineers, product owners, scrum masters, developers and testers. We currently have 3 agile release trains (ART) covering everything from DSP audio, video and embedded software to mobile apps and cloud applications.

What your colleagues say about working at Jabra:

“You’ll be playing a crucial role in the development of the future audio and video products at GN Audio. Doing so, you’ll truly get to unfold your motivational coaching skills – while having fun along the way,” says Release Train Engineer Iben Bjerregaard.

What will you be doing?

As a scrum master, you will be coaching your team as well as facilitating the development and test processes surrounding their projects. Doing so, you will be developing our future audio and video products.

This means that you will be functioning as a servant leader to your teams consisting of up to 10 skilled people. In cooperation with them, the other scrum masters and product owners, you will take part in maintaining and developing GN Audio’s software platforms for current and future products.

All our teams are on a SAFe Scaled Agile framework implementation journey. And we look forward to welcoming you aboard, as we are focused on constant improvement. To achieve this, you will be participating in our weekly community of practice where our scrum masters reflect on current processes and share knowledge from the agile community to improve skills and methods.

Moreover, you will:

  • Play a key role in documenting and enhancing the software development process
  • Participate in enhancing Jabra’s development process
  • Help ensure that our intended customer experience is achieved

Sound good so far? Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree

In software, electronics or similar – alternatively, you have relevant experience from a similar position.

Experience working with the SAFe Framework and developing software systems
While also being a certified scrum master with experience working as a servant leader.

A motivator with an eye for problem-solving
Especially when it comes to improving the cooperation and processes as well as removing impediments for your team(s), e.g. handling the challenges that can occur between software and hardware.

Fluent written and spoken English skills

As an international organization with colleagues in over 50 different countries, our official company language is English. It’s essential that you can communicate effortlessly with your colleagues, no matter where they are.

The Jabra culture

The Jabra culture is upbeat and positive. We greet every day with energy and enthusiasm, bringing our best selves and approaching problem-solving and challenges with a ‘glass half full’ attitude. We’re independent, but we also know when two heads are better than one.
