Then we need you at GN Hearing for a key role as our Senior Test Automation Engineer to develop end-to-end test automation solutions that covers hearing aids, mobile device applications, Windows desktop applications, and cloud services.

At GN Hearing, we develop innovative hearing solutions with great sound quality and excellent design to ensure that hearing aid users will be able to hear more, do more and be more than ever thought possible.

At our headquarter in Ballerup, you will join the Product Development Systems Integration and Verification team, that is part of our Research, Technology and Commercialization department. We are a dedicated team of specialists who ensures that our cutting-edge technology and new innovative product features works across our advanced hearing aids system, and we support our colleagues throughout the company to develop high quality, innovative and safe products.

Help us ensure the highest quality

With the aim to ensure correct and stable functionality across our products, you will develop our test automation solutions further with additional capabilities and extended coverage. As such, you will be responsible for test automation tasks throughout the whole development process, from exploring opportunities, coordinating with stakeholders on priorities and plans, development, and documentation.

Specific tasks include:

  • Developing new framework capabilities, including specification, coding, and documentation
  • Defining and implementing user scenarios to test new use cases according to plan agreed with team colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to GN Hearing test automation strategy and coordination work in collaboration with other stakeholders in R&D
  • Performing and being responsible for test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, or a related field
  • have solid experience within software testing and verification
  • have several years of experience within test automation
  • have proficiency in programming languages such as C#
  • have knowledge about the development of complex HW/SW products and embedded systems, e.g., medical devices.
  • will develop domain knowledge and expertise through continuous professional development

It is a bonus if you:

  • have experience with Selenium / Appium test automation frameworks
  • are certified in ISTQB Foundation or similar

Great coordinating and collaboration skills

As you will be working closely with different stakeholders across the company, you know how to build and maintain positive relationships and greatly appreciate input from stakeholders.

You take a systematic approach to your work and as such you are accurate, and you can keep the bigger picture in mind while having a close eye on the important details. You possess good analyzing skills.

Fluent written and spoken English skills
