We are looking for (senior) software developers to join the R&D department - the beating heart of GN Audio. It’s here that state-of-the-art Jabra communication and music products are born. You will be part of the embedded software team consisting of 5 dedicated engineers, who are all looking forward to meeting you! Together, we are responsible for specification, design, implementation and testing of embedded software for GN Audio's DECT, USB and Bluetooth devices.
Through the Jabra brand, GN Audio have created the world’s first ultra noise-canceling microphone, the world’s first Bluetooth headset and the world’s first sports headphones with integrated heart rate monitor.
Our solutions implement communication protocols over USB, audio, Bluetooth, DECT and webservices as well as operating systems for PCs and smartphones. And as we want to remain at the very forefront of the market, we reinvest more than 10% of our revenue in R&D every year – so, it is no coincidence that we keep setting trends.

What will you be doing?
Developing and maintaining GN Audio's software platforms for current and future products will be your mission. Ultimately, you will make life sound better through products like the Jabra Elite 7 Pro and the Jabra Evolve2 75 – just to name a few.
Working in an agile set up, you will collaborate closely with embedded software colleagues as well as the application software and software testing teams. We are looking for someone, who enjoys being part of a team, who shares a passion for different tasks within Embedded Software Development. Someone who likes the idea of sharing ideas and collaborating. We believe we have a working environment that offers opportunities for development.
Depending on your interests, experience and level of skills you will be responsible for some or most of the following tasks:
· Help discover and introduce new technologies to GN Audio
· Plan, interface and negotiate software deliveries with other team members
· Communicate and exchange knowledge with other GN divisions such as Hardware, Digital Signal Processing, Design, etc., to ensure optimal and timely development
You will be joining a small team in Ballerup, in which you can play a significant role. Also, you can practically be working from anywhere, but you should expect to visit our HQ in Ballerup frequently.

· Creative and eager to learn
As we are constantly on the edge of new technology to bring the best experience to the customers, we imagine you are a person who enjoys being creative and innovative. Due to being on the edge of technology you should also thrive with being in a constant learning environment and when a solution is not obvious, researching on the topic is needed.
· C++/C programming skills
You contribute with the latest knowhow on how to build embedded platform, both in the choice of programming language, in regards to development tools and processes; use of latest state-of-the-art CI/CD tools and methodologies.
You have been working professionally in programming for years. You can develop fully functional embedded software, ultimately with a clear interface and structured modular design and have good ideas on how to do well planned development avoiding technical dept.
· Experience in embedded platform development with Bluetooth knowhow
You know in detail embedded platform development, embedded operating systems and microcontrollers. Preferably combined with a natural interest in electronics and hardware as we work on latest state of the art BT/USB/DECT chipsets including SDK. Especially expert level competence within Bluetooth, BLE and LE Audio is appreciated. Knowledge of layered design, for easy interchangeability of chipsets.
· Fluent written and spoken English skills
