STARK Group is looking for an IT Vendor Manager

Your role will be to help maximize Business Value from IT supplier relations and build processes and competencies fit for the future, within Group IT Sourcing & Vendor Management. This role also requires extensive interactions with IT and with business stakeholders. These include the office of the CIO and IT managers, application managers, program and project managers, and strategy and planning organization. Contracts can range from commodity products and services to highly complex outsourcing relationships with multiple vendors, contracts, and contract schedules.

You create value when you can meet the following success criteria within the first 12 months:

• Support the development of IT Vendor- & Contract-management Best Practices and required awareness across the group
• Have awareness of supplier portfolio and utilize supplier potential
• Help to maintain a good and constructive dialogue between suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Help develop and implement Vendor Governance framework and processes
• Help Develop “win-win” strategies for contracting that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers
• Help implement Supplier Governance with key suppliers, including metrics and improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance to colleagues in your own area and across the organization
• Participate actively in the IT Governance structure across the group

After the first year as our new IT Vendor Manager:

• You have contributed to implement a strong governance structure towards our strategic suppliers
• You have ensured a solid collaboration between our strategic suppliers and STARK Group, which is crucial for us to continuously improve our position towards our suppliers
• You have contributed to develop a set of Best Practices within the area of Vendor Management, and ensured this is being rolled-out and followed

To succeed in the role...

You have a strong experience with supplier relationships and can interact with various people, from project managers to supplier.

You can show direction and take the lead-role and facilitate governance meetings with various suppliers and make sure this is used and anchored as the way to interact with our suppliers from our IT Vendor Management function.

You will be part of an IT Sourcing and Vendor Management Team. We consist currently of 6 team members with competencies within Sourcing, Vendor Management, Contract Management and License Management. Your role will primarily be within IT Sourcing.

We are located in Aarhus and it is expected that you can work a minimum of 2-3 days per week from Aarhus. The other days it is possible to work from home or alternatively from our Frederiksberg office in Copenhagen. You must also be fluent in both written and spoken English.
