Want to make a different as License Manager for STARK Group IT?  

Do you have solid experience with building processes and securing control in a multi-vendor setup? Then you might be our License Manager in this new strategically important role in Sourcing & Vendor Management and as part of STARK Group IT. Sourcing & Vendor Management consists of 6 highly skilled people delivering high impact decisions and solutions within Sourcing, Vendor-, Contract- and License Management.

A strategic and operational role with major impact

You will have a major impact on the success of License Management in this new position. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for the License Management area and execute on our operational plans and high priority projects with a direct link to our functional success. We expect you to challenge processes and practices identifying opportunities for continuous improvements. Your will navigate in a broad range of important stakeholders and build a close cooperation with our Service Delivery Managers, Software Asset Manager and Solution Architects within IT - and with our corporate functions Legal and Procurement as well as our external license software vendors.

You will furthermore:    

  • Perform License Management on contracts globally
  • Run IT License audits and participate in negotiations with vendor
  • Participate in contract negotiations for the large license vendors
  • Run cost optimization initiatives for our licenses
  • Be responsible for setting up governance for the License Management area
  • Implement SAM (Software Asset Management) tool and processes with License Management

We can offer a job with a good possibility to grow and impact the area within License Management.

You either come with a solid track record of License Management /  Software Asset Management, or alternatively you might have less work experience but you bring a good technical knowledge, some transferable experience and the right personal profile to make a success of this position.

Relevant experience could include:

  • Documented experience of driving projects in an international organizational 
  • Experience within commercial negotiations
  • Experience with conducting and participating in IT license Audits
  • Experience in SAM (soft asset management) tool and processes

You thrive in setting direction as well as prioritize your workloads efficiently. You bring strong stakeholder management skills both with the ability to engage and influence with STARK colleagues and external vendors. Excellent language skills allowing you to negotiate contracts in English is also one of your strong assets.
