Cloud DevOps Engineer

As part of the DataHubs & ActivationTeam, you will: 

• Explore and learn about new technologies and how they can be applied in GN’s current and future digital ecosystem 

• Design and implement cloud solutions which are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable and cost optimized. 

• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Industry standard tools and services 

• Write application deployment automation using industry standard deployment and configuration tools 

• Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating client test as well as production environments 

• Provide systems support including responding to monitoring alerts 

• Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling 

• Support the other developers on the team

What is required: 

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technically related field (i.e., computer science, engineering, IT etc.) 

• 5+ years of experience with hands-on Azure Cloud DevOps 

• Experience working with Azure 

• Azure Batch 

• Azure Functions 

• Application Insights 

• Azure Apps 

• Azure Key Vault 

• Azure Storage Account 

• ARM Templates 

• Azure API Management 

• Azure cloud platforms 

• Experience working with cloud or hybrid platform, including production setup maintenance  

• Knowledge of build and deploy tools, microservices, event-driven architecture 

• Ability to move between high level architectural review/design and the "roll up 
  the sleeves" level of doing all phases of an application delivery project 

Desirable previous experiences: 

• JavaScript 

• Logic Apps
