Currently comprising three teams—IT Sourcing and Vendor Management, Service Integration and Management (SIAM), and Infrastructure and Security Operations—IT Operations is an evolving unit with a team of 15 skilled professionals.

Our objective is to modernize the IT landscape for scalability and composability to address both current and future business needs, and your role will involve rethinking industry norms to enhance customer experiences.

A Role of Strategic Significance with Operational Impact

In this new position, you will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of our IT Security Operation Center (SOC) vendor. Collaborating closely with our SOC vendor, you will be responsible for maintaining a robust security operations framework that adheres to established procedures and policies, ensuring the security of our environment. Additionally, you will develop and test contingency plans for security incidents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day IT Security Operations in collaboration with our outsourcing security partner, encompassing activities such as monitoring, event and security incident management, release patching, security complaint reporting, and risk management.
• Leading the root cause analysis process post-security incidents, and subsequently overseeing follow-up actions.
• Ensuring the currency and regular testing of security recovery plans for the company's information systems.
• Supervising system maintenance to ensure compliance with security, reliability, and availability standards, including system patching and proactive component servicing, with an emphasis on automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Guiding IT operations and support teams in alignment with standards established by the Information Security Governance forum.
• Facilitating collaboration across cross-functional teams, including Information Security, Legal, Group IT, and vendors.
• Orchestrating collaboration across the organization with peers possessing specialized subject-matter expertise in various business units.
• Reporting progress and roadmaps to the Strategic Sourcing Board and the Security Board.

A Focus on Professional Growth and Impact

Your commitment to building and development is highly valued. Your proven track record in IT Security Operations, IT Infrastructure, IT Technical Management, or related disciplines, with a focus on IT security, including Cloud security, is pertinent. Your proficiency in managing day-to-day IT Security Operations in a multi-vendor outsourced environment is an advantage, particularly if you have experience with an outsourced SOC. Your relevant experience may include:

• Documented instances of project leadership within an international organizational context.
• Experience managing outsourced IT or multi-sourced IT scenarios.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles.
• Proficiency in Security Operations.

Our IT department is physically located in Aarhus. It is expected that you can work from here a minimum of 2-3 days per week. The other days it is possible to work from home or alternatively from our Frederiksberg office in Copenhagen.
