Junior QA Test Engineer

Are you a structure freak looking for an opportunity to make a difference for hearing impaired people around the world? Do you enjoy safeguarding software quality? We are looking for an IT QA to help ensure we deliver high-quality solutions to our sales organization.

At GN, we design and manufacture world-leading hearing aids as well as intelligent audio and video communication solutions. A large strategic project which will significantly increase the scope of our Salesforce platform is starting up. We are therefore expanding and need a dedicated resource to ensure this digital journey is tested and verified along the way.

We are looking for a proactive team player with a drive for delivering high quality work who is able to work independently, but also as part of a professional team, harnessing each other’s experience. You will be responsible for ensuring the solution is continuously validated.

Specifically, you will:

• Manually test the platform and connected system landscape (primarily functional tests)
• Identify and test functionality that supports critical business processes
• Prepare to release deployments making sure the quality of every release is high
• Provide test support for the development team throughout all stages of development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve validation issues
• Analyze and evaluate that business requirements are clear and fully described
• Regularly communicate QA status reports to the team, Delivery Manager, Product Owner and Business Stakeholders

You will join a team of five QAs responsible for testing GN’s commercial platforms. The team is located in Poland, Ukraine and Denmark, but work closely together virtually. You will be dedicated to the Salesforce platform and will also work closely with the team configuring and developing that.

You master keeping an overview, conduct thorough planning, and have technical knowledge within IT. You know how to make others see the importance of what you are doing. You have:

• Minimum one year of professional experience in QA working with enterprise solutions
• Experience with test and validation
• Test case design for end-to-end integration testing
• Knowledge and understanding of QA processes 
• Fluency in English

Also desirable:

• Experience in regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SoapUI, XML, JSON, Postman
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Azure & Gearset DevOps
