The team is responsible for the legal aspects of GN’s global business with a focus on securing smooth and commercially minded support to our business and operations. We advise on all legal aspects with the overall objective to secure quality and undisrupted business continuity that enables GN’s strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Group Legal International, you will assist primarily the corporate and commercial legal teams with support across all GN business areas (from gaming to hearing aids).  You will be an integrated part of our commercial and corporate legal teams, consisting of six lawyers in total, working closely with each team to provide high quality legal support in various types of legal matters.

As a part of a skilled and motivated team of lawyers, you will be expected to take ownership of and manage a variety of tasks, which may be both legal and administrative in nature.

These may include:

• Review and advice in relation to contracts, such as NDA’s, procurement contracts, sales contracts and other types of commercial documents
• Contract and corporate management of contracts and corporate law related documents, and associated work herewith
• Assisting with M&A and finance related projects
• Handling legal inquiries from the lawyers, primarily within the field of contract law (obligationsret) and corporate law (selskabsret)
• Assisting with marketing law related questions and training
• Assisting with corporate law related tasks in relation to new and existing subsidiaries globally
• Conduct in-depth information searches
• Various ad hoc tasks to support the lawyers in the Group Legal International team

To succeed in the role, you:

• Study in Denmark and have as a minimum graduated 1st year of your law or business administration and commercial law (e.g. stud.jur or stud.HA.jur.) studies
• Have an interest and flair for contract law (obligations-, aftale- og køberet) corporate law (selskabsret), and other property law (formueret)
• Want to work with law in practice rather than on an academic level
• Have a can-do mentality and want to help where needed
• Are proactive, diligent, and structured with an ability to maintain an overview
• Are fluent in English and have some experience with MS Word and PowerPoint

Most importantly, you are curious and willing to learn.

• Initially, your place of work would be at our headquarters in Ballerup. Once you are up and running confidently, you may, however, also get the opportunity to work part of the time from our gaming subsidiary SteelSeries, located in Copenhagen.
