TransferMate Global Payments is a Globally Regulated, B2B Payments technology, which greatly improves the international payments process for banks, companies and both our software and strategic partners, such as Wells Fargo, AIB and ING.

We are looking for a Senior Payments Manager to join our treasury department. We are in the process of major change, so this is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to assist in building out and leading change within our processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure payments and receipts are processed timely, accurately within daily cut off times and deadlines
  • Ensure any reconciliation items are investigated and cleared in a timely manner
  • Identify exceptions to processes, such as failure to perform payment instructions and breaches
  • Actively seek ways of improving process efficiency, implementing industry best practice and identifying cost saving initiatives
  • Drive process efficiencies within the team
  • Create concepts, map user journeys, compile roadmaps to maintain focus on accurate delivery of the desired outcome
  • Collate and analyse data for clear communication and presentation to external parties, peers and executive team
  • Inspire team to excel and take pride in the role – leading by example
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritise duties in order to meet varying deadlines
  • Work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results, portray innovation and present new ideas.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications expected
  • Proven ability and experience in strong decision-making and being able to cut through ambiguity
  • Portrays good reasoning skills and strong communication
  • Contribute to companywide employee experiences, inspiring the team to excel and take pride in the role – leading by example

  • Project Management Experience desirable
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively in order to manage projects alongside competing projects
  • Knowledge of Payment Service Directives desirable
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively across varying functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results, inspire innovation and present new ideas.
  • Demonstrate patience and the ability to apply realistic achievable expectations in order to support the progress of team members within the role

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years People Management Experience

  • Proven track record of successful people management
  • Experience processing Payroll
  • Knowledge of global regulations in particular safeguarding of funds
  • Knowledge of payments products, Receivables, Payables, e-money, wallets
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new payment FX product offerings and thrive in an ever-changing, expanding marketplace
  • Ability to use white-boarding tools to enable effortless cross-functional teamwork and make collaboration easier
  • Create concepts, map user journeys, compile roadmaps to maintain focus on accurate delivery of the desired outcome
  • Experience collating and analysing data for clear onward communication and presentation to external parties, peers and Senior Management Team
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced environment-
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience in documenting policies and procedures
  • Approach challenges with an open mind and strong problem solving bias
  • Has excellent attention to detail and data without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills
  • Proven track record of partnering with Senior leaders and building relationships with Key stakeholders at this level
