Role Overview:

The Treasury Operations Manager role sits within the Global Treasury Function. This role is suitable for an experienced financial professional looking for a new challenge. You will be tasked with managing the Treasury Operations Function. The candidate will play a key role in proactively driving the implementation of innovative processes and procedures, presenting business case analysis to teams responsible for delivering technology solutions. You will use excellent problem-solving skills, with intelligent methodologies, tools, and skillset to establish a solid, reliable change management process. You will help teams understand the impact of change and successfully communicate change to inspire a positive adoption of new implementations. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced, solutions driven environment, crafting strategic and rapid fixes to continuously diversify whilst delivering a best in class service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the Treasury Function understand and adhere to all regulatory and operational policies, processes, and procedures
  • Owning, developing, and documenting best practice for treasury operations policies, processes and procedures
  • Responsible for financial regulatory requirements relating to safeguarding of client funds across multiple entities
  • Implement and improve processes and systems to optimize efficiency, quality and excellence
  • Work closely with Operations managers on cross functional processes as well as working collaboratively with other team members to provide support to deliver collective targets
  • Prepare reports, providing analysis of supporting data to identify trends, results, resource effectiveness, project effectiveness, forecast trends and other relevant items
  • Risk management and oversight, with a delivery of a robust control environment and continual review of operational risks
  • Responsible for incident response case management, including fact finding and investigations, follow up and tracking of incident resolution and mitigation, ensuring appropriate documentation of incidents
  • Maintain constant lines of communication and troubleshooting efforts to drive prompt resolution and deliver root cause analysis
  • Act as advocate inside TransferMate’s Treasury Function, supporting the teams to adopt change and removing any barriers that may present along the way


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Treasury environment with demonstrable skills in the management of operations, cash/liquidity management and risk/control accountability
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or related field
  • Intermediary to Advanced proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing projects using SharePoint or other sharing tools
  • Ability to analyze complex data and synthesize into simple concepts
  • Proven track record of managing and developing teams across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong team player, innovative thinker, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Good understanding of the dynamics of global payments landscape
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills in a high pressure, competing-priority work environment
  • Effective issue resolution and escalation skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Global FinTech industry experience
  • Understanding of e-money/wallets
