Kahoot DragonBox is opening a new position for a senior software Developer to improve the experience, distribution and monetization of our learning games.
We’re looking for candidates that are located in one of our existing offices in France, Spain, UK, Poland, Norway.
The position will report to the Kahoot DragonBox Director of Engineering, based in Oslo.

Kahoot DragonBox (https://dragonbox.com/) is the world-renowned pedagogical studio that has earned global fame for its innovative math learning apps for children. About you

Your responsibilities
- Work with the rest of the engineering team to design, build and maintain a robust set of learning games and apps
- Focus on non core gaming functionality, such as system integrations, API development and consumption, and typical software engineering tasks
- Cooperate with the design team to make those learning experiences as enjoyable and meaningful as possible
- Cooperate with the product and sales team to impact and delight millions of kids and their families
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Take care of the development process from idea to deployment and monitoring of our products
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Shipped and maintained at least one game as senior developer
- 5+ years experience as a software developer
- Experience working with multiple product / modules regularly
- Experience with C# & Unity
- Experience with at least one native mobile platform development (iOS, Android, ...)
- You are in the CEST time zone and ideally you would agree to move to one of the countries where we have an office.
Ideally you would also have experience with:
- analytics, data, privacy
- authentication, in-app purchases, commercial flows in general
- asynchronous programming
- dependency injection
- feature flags
- build automation
- automated testing
- store automation / fastlane
- Git, git flow and code reviews
- creating Web based games
Skills required for a remote position:
- A demonstrated ability to work independently and stay focused
- Effective (digital) communication skills (written and oral)
- Confidence to speak up. Our leadership works in a facilitating capability and is always open to hear about possible improvement areas/tweaks on the products
- Proper time-management
- The ability to collaborate remotely with others
