Who are we looking for?
An Azure BI Developer to drive support ticket resolution, maintenance and minor enhancement work on GN Audio Azure data warehouse solutions.
As part of our team, you will:
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, modifies and supports back-end BI solutions on the Azure platform
Works actively with BI Super Users and business process experts across GN to ensure ME requirements and support issues are correctly described
Ensures BI solutions are developed in line with agreed best practices and following relevant BI policies and principles
Monitors operating efficiency and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and optimization of implemented solutions
Demonstrates good understanding of the business needs driving demand for data
Ensure proper security and authorization setup is in place to control access to data
Collaboration with other IT departments
Collaboration with external partners
What is required:
Microsoft Azure SQL
Programming with TSQL (stored procedures, functions)
Data Warehouse concepts and Kimball methodology for Data Warehouse
Coding for data extraction, transformation and data loads (ETL).
Azure Data Factory
Visual Studio (data projects) and Devops (familiarity with devops branching, GIT concepts).
Nice to have skills:
Azure logic apps and function apps
General working knowledge of Azure portal and navigating data assets ( storage accounts, monitoring)
Storage accounts (blob storage)
Working with APIs and data connectors from various sources
