At GN, we make life sound better, and through our Jabra brand, we are leading major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions.

From either Ballerup or Aalborg – or even another European location – you are joining 50 highly skilled and dedicated colleagues in our fairly new Audio DSP department. We are further split into agile teams, each with max 9 developers, 1 scrum master and 1 product owner. We work with various aspects of the audio platform, including algorithms, implementation and software development.

What will you be doing? 

Representing our well-known high-quality sound experiences, you will be writing code for an Audio DSP platform used in Jabra headsets, earbuds, and speakerphones.

You will be part of a team consisting of Audio DSP engineers, where you will take on an active role in solving the team’s different tasks – all with the aim to keep creating better and better products for our customers.

If you join us, you can expect to spend your days:

  • Writing DSP and embedded code
  • Working with audio frameworks and implementing audio routing
  • Debugging and testing DSP code

A relevant degree

E.g. within electrical engineering, computer science, acoustical engineering or similar.

A curious mindset

Working with advanced products and audio innovation, we are always looking for new and fresh input – for that to happen, we need to stay curious and question the status quo, when it makes sense.

A keen interest in and perhaps experience with relevant technologies and methods

You don´t need to be an expert at all – but a motivation for learning new technologies and methods will get you a long way. Among others, we work with DSP, DSP architecture, embedded development, interfaces like I2S/TDM and C/C++ as well as SW development tools like VS Code, Git and code review tools.

Team player spirit

While there are plenty of opportunities for each of our team members to develop their own personal skill set, we are first and foremost a team – who performs, succeeds and fails as a team.

Additional bonus skills

If you also happen to know a little bit about the Qualcomm QCC5100 series, embedded DSP chipsets and possibly also HIFI3 DSP – you will get an extra star in our book.

Fluent written and spoken English skills
