POSITION SUMMARY / OVERVIEW

Operating as a key member of the GN sales team, The GASE is responsible for new business development, joint account planning and execution of sales activities required to drive new revenue and achieve sales objectives within assigned Global Account Acquisition classification.  Achievement of results will be accomplished through demonstrating proficiency in solution selling methodologies, CRM discipline, account management practices, and a high level of business development and sales activity.

The GASE will be expected to travel up to 50% within his/her assigned GA Acquisition Segment, engage with existing accounts and channel partners, as well as support regional events that are customer facing.   Successful candidates will be phone and video savvy, comfortable with face-to-face meetings, self-directed, dynamic, results driven professionals, motivated by achievement of sales objectives and rewarded based on activity and quota metrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND END RESULTS

 Customer Sales Acquisition and Account Management

  • Identify customer prospects within assigned GA Account Classification and follow up on identified leads/prospects to create new business opportunities for sales pipeline development.
  • Effectively utilize a solution selling to identify customer needs and create new Jabra sales opportunities
  • Effectively utilize CRM to build and manage an appropriate customer opportunity pipeline to meet sales objectives
  • Establish sales and activity plans in concert with local and Global GAMs to prioritize objectives and tactics to meet sales targets
  • Utilize sound account management skills to capture customer category share and ensure a long-term relationship delivering recurring revenue
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts to conduct account mapping
  • Develop and leverage reseller and strategic alliance partnerships to penetrate customer accounts
  • Provide customer feedback and market insight to the organization in support of the Jabra go-to-market strategy, programs and offerings
  • Meet activity metrics including opportunities created and closed with a high close ratio
  • Lead solution development efforts and coordinate support from all necessary internal/strategic/channel personnel that best address customer needs
  • Manage individual travel, entertainment and sample budget responsibly to support company financial OPEX

GA Acquisition Segment Management

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects, existing customers and channel partners, as well as support in-market events
  • Develop and execute Segment sales plans in concert with GAM acquisition team with the objective of exceeding  revenue goals and capturing market share while meeting gross margin targets and other key metrics
  • Coordinate engagement of applicable company regional and global resources to meet customer expectations and collaborate to meet mutual business objectives and financial targets
  • Proactively assesses, clarify, and validate Segment needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Execute Business Development tactics leading toward opportunities and sales growth
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize work schedule to meet targets
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key local players from the Jabra reseller and strategic alliance community in concert with GAM team
  • Input, manage and analyze data from customer sales systems and other resources to create and implement financially sound revenue generating plans and programs
  • initiate discussions with management regarding trends that may affect success, recommend solutions and appropriate courses of action

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS    

Education Level Completed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or demonstrated equivalent experience for the role is preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 -7 years of phone-based solution sales experience
  • Experience selling through indirect channels
  • Successful experience presenting to groups over the phone as well as in-person sales experience.
  • Experience with working with an indirect sales model is beneficial but not required.

Skills:

  • Customer Centric Focus: Ability to develop strong relationships using excellent sales process and account management skills
  • Proficient in using CRM and Microsoft Office applications to manage sales territories and meet management reporting responsibilities
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to capture, process and analyze data to make intelligent decisions
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics
  • Exercise sound business judgement resulting in favorable decisions that benefit your business and the company
  • Sound, independent decision-making
  • Resourceful and dynamic with the ability to quickly problem solve while interacting with clients and articulate those thoughts with clarity and professionalism.
  • Ability to recognize and balance the immediate needs and short-term requirements while maintaining long term objectives
  • Ability to work from a home office.  Self-directed, self-motivated, independent professional with effective time management skills
  • Possess strong business and financial acumen

Travel:  Regional travel up to 50%
